That Adventure

Lately, I have been following few cyclist. One of them is Ed Pratt. He is cycling around the globe on his unicycle. On his recent vlog, he is blogging about his experience in China. Whether his cave exploration 45 hrs on Train, or the reality of self-filming , each of them are full of adventure and inspiring.

All of the vlogs are amazing. It becomes cooler due to his killing smile and the enthusiasm and the carefully composed video clips. Last on my list is tandeming to karakol.

His 23 min long video starts with an amazing clip of he and his friend on the tandem on an smoth  downhill. Then he goes through the background of who lend him tandem, and how his plan was formed. On the sequence, he had explained how they fixed the bike, DIY fixes to mount the panniers and so on. The clip of the enthusiast kids gathered around his bike was cool additions. After test ride with his friend, they were finally ready and headed to Balykchy. There starts the fun part. The self-filmed clips were perfect along with the timelapse videos. The chit chat with the local on the 2nd morning was inspiring. The story of the grandma made it special.

I got overwhelmed when they decided to head out to camp on the 3rd night despite the snow. I was wishing them to stay in some hotel that night. They camped in rush due to rain and probably felt cold the whole night. But the next morning when they woke up, they found their camp surrounded by snow. (just to that instance) It was pure white everywhere. Both of them explained it was too pretty and I assume so. It looked heavenly cool to see it and I wish I could camp like that.

Check his video. Like him, subscribe him.

Thanks, Ed. Wishing you more adventure ahead.
